Pennant (founded in 2023) is an OTT platform that enables content creators and performing artists to launch their own white-labeled subscription video platform. Bust Out (founded in 2005) is a digital agency that makes websites, apps, enterprise software, and digital experiences.
I am an active member of the Minnesota chapter of Entrepreneurs' Organization. I'm also a Limited Partner at Groove Capital and Tundra Ventures, two early-stage venture capital firms in Minneapolis. I serve on the Board of Trustees at Minnesota Public Radio and American Public Media, and the Boards of Directors at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts and Theater Latté Da. I am a Governing Member of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and a member of the Advisory Circle at the Schubert Club.
I am a first-generation Taiwanese American and a native of Oberlin, Ohio. I found my way to Minnesota via Carleton College where I studied biology, mathematics, and German. I currently live in Minneapolis with my wife Sarah and our three young children. My goals in life are to enjoy breakfast and dinner with my family every day, and to make the world a better place.
